Mountain huts in South Tyrol have a long tradition. Today, the idyllically situated alpine huts in the highlands of the Rodengo and Luson Alp are highly appreciated by active holidaymakers and couples as holiday domiciles. During your holiday on the alp you can escape from everyday life and find peace, enjoyment and relaxation in the midst of nature.

Lunch restaurant with alpine flair
At lunchtime, we serve traditional South Tyrolean dishes and Mediterranean specialties in a relaxed atmosphere. Most of our ingredients come from local producers. Enjoy, for example, bacon dumplings with goulash or homemade ravioli filled with spinach, accompanied by fine South Tyrolean wines.
We offer our Alpine brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., where guests can indulge themselves at the buffet for €22.
Special children’s meals are available for families, and there is a playground within sight. We are easily accessible with strollers.
On request, we are happy to organize parties for up to 50 people – just contact us.
Our lunch restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On Mondays, the restaurant is open only on public holidays.

Welcome to the Oberhauserhütte – your idyllic mountain inn on the Rodenecker Alm in South Tyrol. Here you can enjoy culinary highlights and authentic Alpine delights amidst a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

Our alpine breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and promises a delicious start to the day. At the buffet, you can enjoy a selection of freshly baked bread, homemade pastries, tangy cheese, local cold cuts, homemade jams, yogurt, muesli, and seasonal fruit. We also serve aromatic coffee and freshly squeezed juices while you breathe in the fresh mountain air and take in the stunning views of the Alps – the perfect way to start an active day in nature.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m.
In the evening, we offer a 4-course menu with a salad buffet, lovingly prepared by our head chef David using regional ingredients. Let yourself be tempted by traditional South Tyrolean dishes and ever-changing seasonal specialties – the perfect way to round off an eventful day in the mountains.
Dinner is served punctually at 7:00 p.m.
You’re also welcome to join us for lunch. Please note that lunch is not included in the half-board package. Our lunch restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Mondays only on public holidays.
After 3:00 p.m., we also serve homemade cakes and ice cream.
